Disney Trivia Night Preparation

I mentioned in my last post that I am preparing for a Disney Trivia night at a local brewery with some friends and how we all have 8 animated Disney movies we have to watch by the end of the month. I wanted to dive a little more into that and how my friends and I decided to do this as a group.
Honestly, the best part of all this so far was doing a snake draft when we were selecting movies. If you are unfamiliar, a snake draft is where you have the first person pick and it goes in order all the way to when the sixth person picks. The next pick after the sixth person is the sixth person again and then it goes backwards until the first person picks and so on. We had a lot of fun drafting Disney movies and I think I drafted some of the better ones. Now, I am bias and made sure to select ones I really enjoy and would want to watch because there are some Disney movies I am glad I am not watching. For example, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Big Hero 6 are two movies I do not enjoy and was happy others selected them. But the movies I have seen so far from the ones my wife and I drafted are Black Cauldron, Snow White, and Beauty and the Beast.
I don't want this to be something where I do a deep dive into each Disney movie I am watching, because most people have seen Disney films and especially some of the ones on my list. But, I want to continue writing updates about where my wife and I are at in our Disney movie journey. We have currently seen 3 of 16 and only have about 12 days to watch the other 13, so our backs are against the wall. It will be done though. I plan to watch some on my days off from work that I have coming up. Below you can see the 16 movies that have to be watched and the ones in bold are the ones that have already been seen.
Lilo & Stitch
Beauty & the Beast
The Fox & the Hound
Cinderella
Black Cauldron
Wish
Snow White
The Rescuers
Emperors New Groove
Moana
Encanto
Frozen II
Jungle Book
Raya and the Last Dragon
Lady and the Tramp
Pinocchio
Once I have watched all 16 of these films, I plan to release a blog post ranking them from 1-16 and telling you why each one is ranked where it is. So stay on the lookout for that in the near future. Thanks again for reading and following the Film Review Blog. More posts are being lined up and are on there way!
