A Welcome to the Film Review Blog by Nick Kuster

Hi, my name is Nick Kuster and welcome to my new blog, The Film Review! Here you will get the chance to read film reviews, opinions, and more. I, along with my Father-in-Law watch more films than we know what to do with and this blog will give me the chance to let people know what I think of each film that is watched. I keep a spreadsheet of all the films I watch from each month with a rating score out of 100. I may not have the same opinions as others, but hopefully my reviews will give someone a better understanding of a film or make then really want to watch something they originally didn't think they would.

What to Expect

Each week look out for 1 to 2 posts depending on what is in theaters, trending on streaming services, and recommended by people I know. I would love to hear from anyone regarding film recommendations and you can do so by emailing me using my contact information provided under the Contact Page. Some of my favorite movies that I have watched this year include The Dark Knight, Oppenheimer, Inception, Blade Runner 2049, and Top Gun: Maverick. If you need something to watch, these are the films I would recommend right now.

Closing Remarks

Thanks for reading up to this point and I look forward to having everyone read and learn more about film and what it all has to offer. It presents a chance to escape into another world created by incredible people both on screen and behind the camera. All the reviews on this blog will be biased and opinionated. Look out for my first blog post about film specifically. Odds are it will be about films nominated for the Oscars.
